Beer Coasters Travel Guides
Ever travel through a new area
and would like to stop and pick up some coasters along with
way? This page will help you
map your route. You can help
by keeping these coaster travel guides current by reporting on the coaster
status of microbreweries and
brewpubs
that you visit while traveling.
Information on good beer bars where coasters are generally available
is also appreciated. Here are
two good online brewery directories:
BCCA US Brewery Guide and
Beer
Travelers.
While most brewery tours offer free samples during the tour, it's always a good idea to moderate your drinking. All that free beer can be very tempting, but you do not want to be calling a Dallas DWI attorney from a local prison cell after your tour. Always be responsible and don't drink and drive.

Some of the states contain links to state
brewery guilds or other web guides. Let us know if you are aware of others,
and they will be added to the individual state
guides. See
This section is being managed by Steen Borup-Nielsen & Craig Stichtenoth. When you visit a brewery or pub, please email Craig (CStichteno@aol.com) with the latest coaster status you observe there and the month visited, and that pub or brewery's listing will be updated with your latest info. In addition to specific coaster friendly beer bars listed in this section, there are several chains that are often good sources for microbrewery coasters: Old Chicago Restaurants in Colorado and many other states, Mellow Mushroom pizza restaurants with locations in many southeastern states, and Yard House restaurants in California and elsewhere are often good coaster sources. Locations for these chains and other beer bars, as well as breweries and brewpubs can be found at Pubcrawler. |
